THE CONSORTIUM

“The Consortium for the Protection of Made in Italy was set up to combat all those who use the label improperly, making false statements.”
The Consortium recognises and certifies only those products that are made within the Italian territory.

How :
  1. By checking and certifying that the production authentically takes place within the Italian territory.
  2. By attaching to the garments or the objects manufactured within the Italian territory very small labels or stamps bearing the logo of the Consortium, the authenticity of which can be recognised only by the commissioners of the Consortium.
  3. By periodically controlling the companies that are registered with the Consortium to guarantee that they are telling the truth.
  4. By publishing on this website the list of the companies selling products (and/or specific ranges) that are manufactured exclusively within the Italian territory.

Classico Italia join forces with CMI. This is a stong demostration that italians want to prove how the high qality must be protected and certified.
The CMI has signed an agreement with the most rappresentative Italian associations CNA- Federmoda and Confartigianato to collaborate for the concrete rappresentation of Made in Italy.
